In Lawrence local residents are working with the Ballard Center and are encouraging residents to donate vital winter wear like coats, gloves and hats as well as household items like quilts and comforters to the Ballard Center pantry. Ballard Center is also organizing a drive to encourage Kansans to donate to the lifesaving rent and utility emergency assistance programs Ballard provides by visiting https://www.ballardcenter.org/donate-now/. The Ballard Center partners with families to achieve stability through early childhood education and needs-based services. In addition to providing affordable, high-quality early childhood education, they offer services to help families and individuals when they experience difficulties.

When and Where: Donate at https://www.ballardcenter.org/donate-now/ any time between Jan. 3rd and midnight on Jan. 7th -OR- visit the Ballard Center, 708 Elm Street in Lawrence, Kansas, to donate vital winter wear on Jan. 7th between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
