Day of Service Shawnee County – Food Drive

In Topeka, community members are organizing a food drive with Harvesters—The Community Food Network, a regional food bank that provides food and related household products to more than 760 nonprofit partner agencies including food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others. Volunteers can participate by donating nonperishable food in Harvesters’ barrels at the Kansas State Capitol. Donation barrels at the Kansas State Capitol can be found in the Visitor Center by the vending machines and on the first floor by the cage elevator. The barrels will be located in the Kansas State Capitol from January 5 – January 13.
